God rest her soul. My condolences to the many wonderful staff who worked with Shauna so that she could live her best life. And my sympathies to Patti and Erin who were so gracious and kind. May Shauna shine with the stars!

Shauna Dugan! You were heaven sent, you truly changed my life in more ways then you knew. Thank you for teaching me so much. You were not only physically strong but mentally. You endured so much, yet made the most out of everything. You taught me to never take anything for granted and to never give up on myself and always keep trying. You will be very missed, I am so thankful to have met you. May you Rest In Peace. I hope you're keeping everyone on their toes up there! Till we meet again 🤍

I will never forget my many years working with Shauna.

She was a happy woman to work around. Yes she loved her vocabulary group. Your in God's hands.

I know you are in a better place and probably doing something funny to keep people awake. I enjoy my last couple of months working with you and going on the outings to the parks and taking our walks around the center. May you Rest In Peace Agustina Perez

Shauna's obituary is a beautiful tribute to her life. I have known Shauna since 1977 when she came to CWC 's then hospital unit for orthopedic surgury where I worked as a staff nurse. Later in Shauna's life I saw her on her unit on a daily basis as I worked as a administrative charge nurse. Life on a daily basis was challenging for both Shauna and her care givers. She was exceedingly smart and her persistence to pursue her needs were always a challenge to nursing and care giving some staff. RIP dear Shauna, a life that had meaning and showed us all that the simple things in life had a beautiful meaning.❤️

My Deepest sympathy to the family. I got to know Shauna when I floated throughout the Center. She most certainly was a very smart little lady. Very determined what she wanted. She overcame her disabilities to more than what anyone else would have thought possible. Shauna will be missed by many. God Bless Shauna. She is now a special Angel.

I took care of her at CWC and she was always a fun lady when I knew her. she will be missed greatly 💕

I haven't worked with Shauna since I graduated LPN school last January. I worked with her for 5 years quite frequently. A lot of people didn't get her but I did. I am thinking of the family and deeply saddened by this news. I was thinking of her recently and how I've been wanting to visit. She's at peace now. Thank for the years I got to spend with her.
