She was preceded in death by her husband, John M.; son, William P. Murray; granddaughter, Aline Stone; brother, Robert Wiessinger; an infant sister; and sons-in-law, Mark Newell and William Gilding; and Jean’s new love, Dave Quick.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Agrace HospiceCare, especially Beth, Jenny, Tara and Emily, and Dr. Thomas Casper, for their excellent care of Lois.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, WINDSOR/DEFOREST CHAPEL, 6924 Lake Road. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date.

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
