Obituary For Keith Andrew Berube

VERONA – Keith Andrew Berube, age 37, passed away on August 1, 2024. He was born on September 25, 1986 in Lewiston, Maine to parents Raymond and Ann (Girouard) Berube.

Keith married Abby Ottman on June 11, 2016 in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. Their two children are son, Jackson (age 4) and daughter, Josephine (age 1).

Keith was an avid cyclist and found great joy in long distance cycling. He had an amazing talent and passion for photography, which he pursued with his wife Abby. This passion led to capturing many amazing memories for his family as well as other families that they were blessed to work with. His life long enjoyment of music made him a go-to person for an amazing playlist. He was also skilled at playing the guitar and shared this love of music and playing with both of his children from the day they were born. He gained an appreciation for cars from his dad, Ray, and enjoyed attending car shows with his best friend every year. Above all, he was passionate about his kids. He was an amazing, loving, and proud father that would do anything for his children. They brought the most meaning and joy to his life and anyone that saw them together knew that they were his world. Keith will be remembered as an exceptional dad.

Keith is survived by his wife, Abby Berube; children, Jackson and Josephine; parents, Ray and Ann Berube; parents-in-law, Steve and Sue Ottman; grandmother, Jeannine Girouard; sister, Kelly (Colby) Dufour; brother, Jake (Shelby) Berube; brothers-in-laws, Andrew Ottman, Alex Ottman (Tayler Hannon), Adam (Megan) Ottman; his dearest friend, Scott (Monica) Nelmark; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bertrand and Theresa Berube; and Roger Girouard.

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

The professional manner of the staff made a difficult time a little easier.

Lynda R. | July 2020

Services provided for both parents were perfect, on time, and no issues. Brenda is awesome and strong!

Michael M. | July 2020

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
