Juanita married Andrew Nash, Jr. on February 20, 1943. Together they raised six children. Juanita was a wonderful homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.
As a member of both the American Legion and the Women’s Auxiliary Post 8483, Juanita dedicated her life to volunteering in the community. She volunteered at the Madison Veterans Hospital as one of the “Pink Ladies”, baking and delivering crafts to inpatients at the hospital, as well as selling poppies at the Capitol Building for Poppy Day. She was a member and past two term president of the Women’s Auxiliary Post 8483 and a 45-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of Lakeview Lutheran Church in Madison.

When her son, John was a mechanic for race car driver, Dick Trickle, she always liked having him over for a meal. Juanita enjoyed gambling and was an avid winner at BINGO. She will always be remembered for her fun-loving, sweet personality.
