Condolences

Dear Mike and Fran my sincere condolences for your loss. I regret that I will not be able to attend the funeral as I had planned. On Thursday I got my flu shot and on Friday I got the flu.

Joe and I went to school together at St. James. He was such a good friend and one of the kindest people I have ever known. Always welcoming. His infectious smile is something I will never forget. Be at peace my friend!

Joe was one of my best friends in high school, and we hang out together all the time. I have a lot of fond memories of crazy stuff we used to do together like all the burn-outs we used to do outside of West High. His smile and laugh was contageous, and I regret that we lost touch after high school. I'll never forget the Mack truck hat he wore everywhere. He was taken way too soon, but knowing Joe I'm guessing he lived life to the fullest with his time. My sympathy to his wife, kids, and surviving family. Jordy Matusiewicz

I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was a wonderful, happy person. I worked with him at Krupp Construction and was the recipient of many wonderful smiles and happiness from Joe. What a gift he was. Heather Johnson

I went to grade school at St James with Joe. He was always one of the "good guys." Friendly, fun, and even watch out for other kids that might not have been as tough as Joe 😉 I think it's important for his family to know how he has touched so many lives in a positive way, by just being himself. He will be greatly missed

All my love and support goes out to Joe's family and friends! He was one of best and I am honored to have called him my friend. I think one of my favorite memories will be from the house the guys rented off John Nolen drive (in the early '90's) where he would cook spaghetti on a grill in the backyard. I will forever hear his voice when he greeted me "Hey Mo!"

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. May your memories of the good times carry you through the tough times.

My cousin Joe, who was like a brother, will be forever missed. His smile lit up the room, and his hearty laugh made everyone joyful. He was a wonderful human being with a heart of gold. May he be resting in the arms of our Lord, surrounded by all of our loved ones that have passed on before him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Joe and his family. Joe, Charlie and I did a Spring Break Trip in '93. Had a great time! He was a kind soul to all!

I haven't seen Joe since high school but I remember he was always so kind and considerate of others. I'm sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine the pain you are going thru. Another great person in heaven gone way too soon. Theresa Dolfen (Noyce)

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
