Obituary For Jimmy R. Bundy Sr.

DeForest – Jimmy R. Bundy Sr., age 80, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 15, 1944, in Huntington, WV, the son of LeEssel and Edna (Potter) Bundy. Jimmy was the middle of eight children and was the last surviving member of his family. Jimmy married Susan (Newell) Bundy in September of 1984 and have been together for the last 45 years. He worked at Kraft Foods in Madison for 36 years and retired in 2003. Jimmy was an avid sports fan, especially for the Packers and Badgers as well as his hometown teams, The Thundering Herd and The Mountaineers.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Jessica and Jimmy (Erin); several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeEssel and Edna; and his seven siblings.

A visitation will take place starting at 10am - 12pm and a A Memorial Service will follow at 12pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest.
