Obituaries

Verona – Jane Elizabeth Knudsen, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Noel Manor in Verona. She was born in New London, WI on July 4, 1949, the daughter of Hiram and Lula (Christensen) Kempf. Jane worked at the Verona Police Department for 30 years.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Tony Wiegel) Olson and Cary (Paul) Neess; grandchildren, Kelsey, Cheyenne, Payette and Tessa; siblings, Peter (Lori) Kempf, Donna (Dave) Kempf, Mary (Dennis) Kirchman, LouAnn (David) Johnson and Terry (Sue) Kempf; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Lula Kempf; step-father, George VanTassel; brother, Robert Kempf; and daughter, Amy Knudsen.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4pm until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the staffs at Noel Manor and Agrace Hospice for their care and support.
