Obituaries

Gabriel Ethan Lafferty, 21, passed unexpectedly on Thursday August 22, 2019. He loved life and cherished his young son. Gabe loved his family, friends, movies, and music. Gabe had a particularly empathetic nature; he rescued our current household pets as kittens, which are both now happy and healthy today because of him. He had a wonderful laugh and smile that will be missed by everyone that knew him. Gabe was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana January 30, 1998.

He was the proud father of his beautiful son Ethan that he loved to read and play hide and seek with. The laughter would echo throughout the house during these activities. Gabe graduated from Waunakee Community High School. He intended to pursue an apprenticeship program in the Spring and was currently employed at Rocky Rocco’s.

Gabe is lived on through his son, Ethan; older sister, Chelsea; younger brother, Zachary; parents, Jeffery S. Lafferty and Melanie Lafferty; grandparents, William and Kathy Lafferty and Barbara Marsh; great grandfather, Glendal Rager; and a long list of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is welcomed in death with open arms by his older brother, Matthew Lafferty; grandparents, Bonnie Lafferty and Charles Marsh; and great grandparents, Glendora Rager and William and Mary Marsh.

There will be a celebration of life on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Ryan Funeral Home, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest, WI from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral will follow on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11 am.
