Facunda Roman Rodriguez nació el 27 de noviembre del 1930 en Caguas, Puerto Rico y entró en descanso el 20 de enero del 2024. Sus padres eran Eugenio Roman y Constancia Rodríguez.

A la querida Facunda le sobreviven sus hijos: Migdalia Montañez Willie Montañez Madeline Montañez Edwin Montañez Wilma Young Carlos Montañez.

“Cunda” dedicó su vida y su corazón a su querido esposo y a sus hijos. Fue una madre, esposa, hermana, y amiga ejemplar, siempre manteniendo las puertas de su casa abiertas para todo el mundo y brindado su apoyo incondicional. Se le admiraba su carisma y sentido del humor, y siempre la recordaremos de esa manera.
