DEFOREST - Doreen Marie Carpenter, age 68, reunited with her loved ones on Thursday, September 24, 2015. Doreen was born on January 18, 1947, in DeForest, WI, to Roy and Dorothy Lange. She grew up in DeForest and graduated from DeForest High in 1965. She married Martin Carpenter on May 26, 1967 in Rockford, IL. Doreen loved NASCAR, reading, and family get-to-gethers. Her sloppy joes and pizza burgers will be greatly missed.

Doreen is survived by her husband, Marty, of 48 years; children, Carol, Mike, Jacqueline Coffey, and Brian; grandchildren, Matthew (Krystal), Jennifer, Brianna, Veta Abbott, Rachel and Rebecca Coffey; great grandchildren, Jayden, Meghan Glidden, and Myriah Malone; siblings, Harry (Pat) Lange, Kathy Lange, and Robert Lange. Further survived by other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, David Lange and Barbara Quamme.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest. A visitation will be held from NOON until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
