Obituaries

David E. “Dave” Karow passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Oak Park Place in Madison. He was born on February 9, 1941, at home to Arthur M. and Lulu (Ellingson) Karow in DeForest.

He was a heavy equipment operator and a semi driver. He graduated from DeForest High School in 1959.

He is survived by his brother, Russell (Marty); niece Debi (Rob) Westphal of Colorado and Laura Raether of Florida; and nephews Chuck (Maria) of Green Bay and Jim of DeForest.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Alton (Lois).

Family wishes to thank Dr. Ringdahl and the nurses of the East Care Team.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTIAN FAITH MORAVIAN CHURCH, 805 East Holum Street, DeForest, with the Rev. Jason Andersen presiding. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral.
