MADISON/SUN PRAIRIE – Daniel R. Evans, age 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Dan was born on November 26, 1954 in Madison, WI to Robert and Maureen (Vaughn) Evans. He graduated from Memorial High School. Dan was proud of his work and enjoyed working with his hands, refinishing furniture and doing carpentry. He was most proud of his children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He very much loved his Sugar. Dan enjoyed cooking dinners for his family, giving his advice and point of view, westerns, antiques, reading the newspaper, and really loved and missed his friends in Tennessee. Dan touched many lives and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Dan is survived by his children, Darrick (Nicole), Dana, and David (Marsha); grandchildren, Cameron, Kayli, Paige, and DJ; siblings, Robert (Elinor), Kathy Wagner, Dick, Sandy Helsell, Joyce (Vince) Petruzates, Tim, Terry, Jeff, Shawn, and Russell (Renee); and his dog, Sugar. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Mason Robert Dalton; and brother, Randy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his home, 228 North Bird Street, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 12:30PM until 4:30PM.
