Obituary For Beatrix Amalie Kaufmann

Our caring, beautiful and strong Beatrix (Trixi) Amalie Kaufmann, age 62, passed away peacefully after a long battle with pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 at UW Health University Hospital.

Trixi was a beautiful soul who loved unconditionally. Everyday she lived, she made it her goal to make somebody else’s day. In better terms, she was one of the most selfless people you would ever meet in this world. Whether a stranger or a friend she would go out of her way to give love to others. However, when it came to her family, she would go through extreme lengths to ensure their happiness and protection. This love intensified for her two daughters, as they were the most important aspect of her life. To be loved by Trixi Kaufmann, was the greatest gift of all. Furthermore, with her love came her strength. To say she was the strongest person anyone could have met is an understatement. She stood her ground regardless of what anyone had to say even up till the end. As the father of her kids would say “You’ll never find someone else like Trixi”. Overall, she was the most amazing mother, partner, sister, daughter, and friend. And that will never be forgotten. She is our beautiful warrior and will be deeply missed.

She was born August 31st, 1961. Trixi is survived by her beautiful daughters; Shuntel and Shalee Kaufmann; the love of her life and father of her children, Rob Brown; mother, Rosemarie Kaufmann, sisters; Bettina Wilbanks, Nicole Kaufmann, Maxine Teymer and Natalie Arhangelos; nieces; Alexia Markins, Elisa Guezenec, Mia Arhangelos, Rachele Delle Fratte, Danielle Vargas and Erika Grenda; special friends, Deana Winter, Mark Winter and Lisa Sell.

Trixi was preceded in death by her dad; Hans Kurt Kaufmann.

A celebration of life will be held privately with close family and friends.

A special thanks to the great care that was given to Trixi by the UW Carbone Cancer Center, an extra thank you to Jeremy D. Kratz, MD.

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

The professional manner of the staff made a difficult time a little easier.

Lynda R. | July 2020

Services provided for both parents were perfect, on time, and no issues. Brenda is awesome and strong!

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
