Madison - Susan Chang, age 59, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, May 28, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Laos on August 28, 1952, the daughter to Chai and Tay Chang. She immigrated to the U.S. in the 1980s with her family and married to Bounmy Saengmany who preceded her in death in 1994. She enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and her vegetable and flower gardens.
She was a kind and generous woman who had a smile that was warm and inviting.
She is survived by her two children, Peter and Nancy Saengmany; five brothers and sisters, Linh (Hom) Chang Racksasouk of Toronto, Phoui Chang (Lane Baccam) of Des Moines, Sylvie Vangy of France, John Chang of Madison, Kathy (David) Khamphouy of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceeded in death by her mother, Tay Chang, and her father Chai Sine Chang. Funeral services will take place at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, Madison, on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 9am. Burial will conclude at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
